PVD rents are skyrocketing and are out of control. We need to protect working people from rent gouging and sudden rent hikes. That's exactly what Rent Stabilization would do - if our City Council passes it. 

Now, 9 City Council members have publicly come out in support of Rent Stabilization. 

In order for the proposal to pass and override Mayor Brett Smiley's veto, 10 City Council members must vote yes. 

That's right: we're one vote away from winning.

Guess who's standing in the way? John Goncalves.

This is UNACCEPTABLE. John ran to represent the people of Ward 1 (Fox Point, College Hill, Wayland Square, Downtown, and the Jewelry District). Now, he's betraying them in return for donations from wealthy developers and landlords. 

Tell John: Stand up for the people! Don't sell out our community! Vote YES on Rent Stabilization!
